First Date, a Nonet

 

Friday, a first date always nervous.

Trying to keep calm being cool;

writing questions I might hear.

Trying on clothes matching

my shoes to get the

look right as if

it’s for points.

First kiss?

Mum.

First line is 9-syllables in length. Each line thereafter reduces the number of syllables by one until the ninth line has a single syllable.
