Word of the Week, 22/12/18

Tortrix

.

from Latin torquēre “to twist”, the habit of twisting or rolling leaves to make a nest.

..

Each week I offer a randomly selected word from the pages of a handy dictionary.

Add tortrix to a letter or slip it into a text. I do not think it is in any Harry Potter book.

Be aware the WP spell-checker cannot find it but senses it is mis-spelt.
